What’s not to love?.
I confess, I almost always use store bought cakes to decorate. I’m not a baker. One of my favorite cakes to decorate is Trader Joe’s Chocolate Ganache Torte. This is truly a decadent chocolate cake, sporting a generous layer of rich chocolate mousse lathered between two moist chocolate cake layers, then finished with a semi -sweet chocolate ganache. It’s the perfect size and surface for adding decorations. in fact, this cake begs to be dressed up, it’s not very fancy right out of the box.
Decorate a store bought cake
Spiff it up with a chocolate bow or some chocolate flowers, and you have the perfect party cake in a jiffy. If you love chocolate cake, I guarantee you will love Trader Joe’s chocolate ganache torte! I have brought this cake to so many parties and everyone always raves about how delicious it is. If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s, just find a plain cake at your supermarket or bakery to decorate.
Cake decorating with chocolate transfer sheets is also another easy way to quickly embellish a cake. This can be as simple as wrapping a cake with a festive transfer sheet, or adding some chocolate shards.

Hi Cindy!
You are going to LOVE Trader Joe’s. Everything is so good and really cheap 😉 yes get the ganache cake and let me know what you think. They have a nice dried fruit selection also, you can get dried banana, mango, persimmons etc. all are so delish. Fling them all in a chocolate pot of course.
Happy holidays my sweet friend, and thank-you for all of your comments, they are so much appreciated, and I always love hearing from you. xoxo
