Magnificent Chocolate Flowers: Orchids, Calla Lilies, and Roses.
My last few posts have been Spring inspired, and all about making fabulous chocolate flower decorations. I hope you’ve enjoyed them so far! we’ve explored chocolate lotus flowers, sunflowers, carnations and fantasy flowers. Now on to the next batch: Orchids, roses, calla lilies, and blossoms.
How to make a rose with modeling chocolate tutorial
On this post I want to show you the beautiful flowers you can create with modeling chocolate, also known as chocolate clay. Modeling chocolate is a mixture of corn syrup and chocolate that produces a flexible clay-like material. It has a similar consistency to marzipan and fondant. It’s like edible play dough!
The photo below is a nice example of a flower cut-out using modeling chocolate. Just roll out the chocolate and cut flower shapes with a cookie cutter. Cake by Robert Hanson.

There are so many beautiful flowers you can make with modeling chocolate, I encourage you to give it a try. It’s one of the easiest ways to create flowers with chocolate.
